How to take

Children aged 6 to 9 years old: Take one capsule in the morning, with food.

Children aged 10 to 14 years old: Take two capsules in the morning, with food.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

All of our capsules can be twisted open and the contents mixed with food or drink, such as a yogurt or smoothie, to consume if required. We always recommend that you follow a healthy and balanced diet.

Saffron is known in many households as a spice. However, Saffron is more than that; it is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory derived from the flower of Crocus sativus. It contains 3 bioactive compounds.

The difference between Saffrosun for children and Saffrosun Calm is the amount of Saffron and Vitamin B12 they contain per capsule:

Saffrosun Calm: (suitable for adults and children aged 12+)

  • 15 mg of Saffron and 1.25 mcg of Vitamin B12 per capsule. 

Saffrosun for Children: (suitable for children aged 6+)

  • 7 mg of Saffron and 0.6 mcg of Vitamin B12 per capsule.
What else does Saffrosun for Children contain?

Saffrosun for Children contains Saffron extract, Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12. These ingredients are encased in a natural cellulose shell.
How much saffron should children take and when?

We recommend one to two capsules a day, preferably in the morning with breakfast.  

In children aged 10 to 14 years old, saffron is efficacious at doses of 14mg per day.  

Whereas saffron is efficacious at doses of 7mg per day in children aged 6 to 9.
