A homeopathic medicinal product used within the homeopathic tradition for the relief of teething pain and other minor symptoms associated with teething in babies and children.

Made from soothing chamomile root these are more suited to younger infants than Chamomilla Drops (granules can be crushed and dissolved in boiled and cooled water for very small children). The base granule is made from sucrose and won't cause problems for lactose-intolerant infants.

Weleda Chamomilla 3X Granules are helpful for babies and young children who suffer from colic. Signs are normally repeated episodes of excessive crying, often accompanied by the drawing up of legs in an otherwise healthy, well-fed baby. Colic is abdominal pain caused by the intestinal contractions (cramping) and wind, and is most common during the first 3 months of life. In general the granules are more suited to babies from birth onwards and the drops should be restricted to use in children over 6 months. Suitable for vegans.

How to use

Suitable for babies from 3 months old.

For babies 3-6 months of age:
Fully dissolve one level scoop of granules in one teaspoonful (5ml) of water that has been previously boiled and cooled. Do not administer until the granules are fully dissolved. With the baby held in an upright position or supported in a sitting position, using a teaspoon, the dissolved granules should be slowly given to the baby in the front of the mouth. Check that the baby has swallowed all of the liquid.

For babies and children over 6 months of age:
With the baby or child held/sat in an upright position, slowly give one level measuring scoop of granules into the front of the mouth. Check that the granules have fully dissolved in the mouth. Alternatively the granules an be given in water, as described above.

One dose (one level scoop) should be given every 15 minutes for a maximum of 12 doses in any 24-hour period.

Do not use:
• if your baby is under 3 months old
• if your baby or child is allergic to Chamomilla or to any of the ingredients in this product.

Weleda Baby Chamomile Teething Granules contain sucrose. If you have been told by your doctor that your baby or child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before giving them this medicinal product.

Due to the product containing sucrose which may be harmful to teeth, it is not recommended for use for more than 2 weeks.
